If you're unable
to print, please go through the following steps before contacting support. Many
printing issues are related to printer hardware, network sharing,
or local configuration settings.
1. Check
Printer Power and Connection
Ensure the
printer is turned ON.
Confirm
power and data cables are securely connected.
For USB
printers, try reconnecting or switching to another USB port.
2. Verify
Network/Shared Printer Access
If you're
using a shared printer, make sure:
If you're
getting an error like “Printer not found,” check if the computer or
printer name has changed, as your software depends on this path.
3. Print a Test Page
Go to Control
Panel > Devices and Printers
Right-click
on the printer > Printer Properties > Print Test Page
If the test
fails, the issue is with the printer or system, not the software.
4. Check
Printer Status
Open Devices
and Printers
Confirm the
printer is not:
Offline
Paused
Showing a paper
jam or error
5. Check
Print Queue
Double-click
on the printer in Devices and Printers.
If multiple
documents are stuck:
Right-click
→ Cancel All Documents
Restart the
print spooler service or reboot your system.
6. Format
Compatibility
7. Check
for Changes in Computer/Printer Name
If the
computer or printer was renamed recently, the software may not recognize
it.
Update the print
configuration settings in the software to match the new names.
8. Clear
Temp Files and Restart Software
9. Test from Another
Application
Try printing
a file from Notepad or Word.
If that
fails too, the issue is not with the software.
